Around here they just cut your gas filler hose under the car, (usually truck), but once in a while they just poke a hole in the bottom of the tank. That way they are underneath and you don't see them. They hit 10 new cars at the dealer I work for. I'd rather they just siphon it, so I don't use a locking cap.
