Thanks for the heads up Ace. You know I'll do whatever I can to join in.
Are any of this group among those I met going up to Oregon '08?

Yes. Brian Paland, Ken Haven, Dave Voss, and Chris Obert -- to name a few.

Exited!? That's putting it mildly.
Glad to hear we'll be seeing you. Any chance you'll have the wife and baby with you? My wife is coming and that would be the cherry on top.

Hey everyone,

Sorry have been out of touch. My industry is about shut down so things have been reel tight. Chrissy, me and the baby (Liam) will hopefully be there. It will be good to see everyone again.

Cheers,
Talon

Similar to last year, there will be a group of Fiats arriving from the San Francisco area to take part in the F&I show. They will be heading back north after the show on some interesting mountain roads, with a stayover at some cabins in the Sequoia's on Sunday night. Here's the contact info for where we are staying:

John McNally's Fairview Lodge
Sierra Way/Mountain Road 99, 15 miles N of Kernville
Kernville, CA 93238
(760) 376-2430 (leave a message and theywill return your call)
http://www.mcnallysfairviewlodge.com

Then, Monday morning, some more exciting mountain driving and hiking amongst the redwoods, and lunch at a neat restaurant deck that hangs out over a cascading river at the entrance to Sequoia Park. After that, the SF area guys head north, and I head back south.

Anybody interested to join this tour, contact me for more info. I am returning for my second year, and highly recommend it. We will be leaving the F&I show about 1:30 PM, so that we can arrive at the cabins before dark.

George,
I'll try to catch you at breakfast. We have a visitor staying overnight, so it depends on how early I can shake him out of bed!

hmmm, you can't get out of bed until he does? Why don't you put him against the wall for one night so you can get up early?

Yeah right, Pinto. That's what they all say.
Actually, I was thinking of Talon. Major case of oldtimer's disease.
And now my question is answered by Talon himself.

Yuk, yuk -- that brings back memories of the 3 stooges. Nope, Steve get's his own bed -- or the couch! We've already got 3 in our bed, if you include the cat! BTW, Steve is bringing down his turquois blue 124 wagon from SF area to attend the BFI show. I intend to get all 3 of us cranked up and on the road by 6:00 to meet George and whoever else for breakfast at 7:00.
