Wet monkey :D

Even I have a single plane and a better carb even if it is just a 32 adfa.......
Bad enough you have an auto.......
But I do admire your body work last year it was great! Sell the bug and do right by the fiat, carb, manifold, leather, headers ....... you can do it!
Cheers
dinghyguy in the snow....yes snow here on the wet coast

well, the performance change is big and it sure cleans up the engine bay.
It is the exact change I did last summer.
I do need to put all the old stuff back on for a day or 2 to pass smog, but then the good stuff back again.

You've already done this swap? Difficulties?
I hate to loose the cool air intake that I have, but I'll SURE loose that for the performance increase of 32mm driving and 36mm secondary throttle openings! Perhaps I can build something to replace it if I do this,...
I've asked BammBamm for a pic of the throttle linkage so I can assess if it rotates properly, and how linkage occurs.
Tell me about your swap. Would you like to go to email, instead of posting here? The info would be appropriate in any case,...
Thanks!

Oh, and dinghyguy, we finally got some snow, so we have some too. Rare stuff this year,...

BTW, the bug is worth more money than the Fiat,...

but I like the Fiat more!
Sure wish I had a 4spd, but my Spider's turbo180 automatic transmission can be shifted very nicely,...just stay outta P, N and R!

I don't think this is happening,...I'm not sure why. Must have sold,...
Oh well,...can't say I didn't try.
But now that I have established it to be "OK" with the spouse,...I'll be looking for another 32/36 Weber and single plane intake.

Whoops, whoa, wait! Just a minute!!
I'm buying a carb and manifold for my Spider! Yahoo!
Say goodbye to the dual plane and ADHA,...Anybody want them? Cheap! Freshly rebuilt carb!
I'll post 'em up in the Parts For Sale section later on,...
This swap will make the Spider run a bit better!
