When the lower goes the bottom tilts out and the tie rod end keeps the back in causing the wheel to toe out.

Thats why Mirafiori recommends that you check the front end at every oil change. The Firestone shop where I got the lifetime alignment recommends the same and will do it at no charge at every oil change when you go lifetime on the alignment.
