I had one of those, same color but it was a '73, the last year with the smaller chrome bumpers. But I don't thnk mine had the twin cam.
I remember the ads on TV where they would go on about what a great handling car it was. (true). There was one commercial showing a French stunt car driver (Rene' Julliane?) leaping over buildings with it.

Great car until the the rust came. There were no front wheel liners and mud and snow would pack up under the front fenders until one day the parking lights fell out.

I thought all the 124 sedans came with a push rod engine. DOHC was in the Brava/131 models.

Along with Ferry Boats and Parking Garages. He also drove one down a waterfall.

Prompted and SNL satire skit to be done ending with "So next time you do somthing stupid, do what I do, do it in a Fiat!"

For what it is worth Gene, I wouldn't want to spend the hours going back through, resizing pictures. I say, post them as they are and those who really want to see them can right click and see a better image for their efforts.
Let's see more!

Love it.

I actually have a '66 (very early) 124 Sedan RHD.... so I can relate

I love these cars. Some of my fondest driving memories are in a 124 Sedan (1438 OHV) with no radio. It helped put the art of driving into perspective.

Thanks for sharing.

Painted the headlight and side marker housings , painted and installed headlight stone guards , painted and modified wiper arms , installed roof antenna , painted and installed rearview mirrors .
And I think that's all for now.

That's all? :(
I think you should at least link the thread on the brake work and the thread on your beautiful engine if not posting the pictures here.
All very inspiring!!
