Nice buy. Sounds like you can save the 1 and strip the other leaving you ahead in your hobby/obsession.

Hey Riverdadd, feel like selling that splash pan. Why worry about cutting it to accommodate filter. Easier to sell and send to me.

Well, I picked up the second Fiat today. a total rust bucket. I didn't really look close when I picked up the other one. car was missing rear axle so i didn't get a chance to look underneath. it was sitting on bare ground with 2 flat fronts and no rear, no top or cover of any type, totally exposed to the elements for at least a decade, i'd bet.

Floor pans are gone, literally crumbled to dust. rockers toast, wheel arches....u get the idea. This gem will be liberated of its good parts and recycled......

But, I impressed my teen aged daughter, who rode along, with my "feat of engineering" by placing the carcass on the tow dolly, minus a rear end, and dragging it home! It is truly amazing what a few ratchet straps, a stout pipe and several blocks of wood will accomplish!

Oh and it was that Fiat orange as well. They loved to paint them that orange....i'm not a big fan

well its been a while ..... so here is an update, the spider starts and runs . i had to clean the points and replace the coil Lead wire to the distributor. ( mouse chewed thru it). fluid flush and maybe i will be able to move under its own power. it ran surprisingly smoothly.
