Keeping it sharp - paint, wax, detailing, etc.

Recently I chatted with a guy who casts Cam covers and possibly a timing belt cover. I'll keep in touch in case something develops!

I'm having the two cam covers chormed this week and I have a fibreglass replica of the the timing belt cover - which can be 'plastic' chromed - when I get to it.

I'll posts some photos next week.

What's wrong with yellow

These were powdecoated with a high-temp coating by the same place that was applying the ceramic coating to the headers.

Adrian, who have you found to do plastic chroming?

Also, please advise how much the chroming costs and whether you are happy with the end result. We only have a couple of options here and I have heard mixed reports regarding our chroming vendors.

Perthling - Hopefully getting them Friday morning .... will let you know.

PS one place wouldn't do alloy plating, the one I ended up using said 'no problem'.

The plastic chorming was from a company that advertises in Australian Classic Car mag. - I'll need to find it again.

EDIT - Found it http://www.dashboardcentre.com.au/infor ... ?info_id=2
