Maybe someone else can chime in on what came stock on these cars. My 1977 Spider was mfg on 8/76 and I believe was one of the last to use electric pumps. My 77 owners manual states mechanical pump. PO had an aftermarket pump on there not mounted to the rubber mount studs I have in that location.
