Thanks a lot for the photos. I Installed an Audiovox kit on a 1976 Volvo 264 GL and it worked very good. However, that was a long time ago and I forgot how I installed. It looks a little to complicated for me to do on the Spider.

I just started driving my 1980 FI, 5 speed, a few weeks ago after spending over 3.5 years putting it together. After a 125 mile non stop test run, I noticed a little pain in my right leg from holding the throttle pedal. It would be nice to have CC or just a throttle hold to get some rest. I will have to figure out some form of throttle hold with brake release.

The cruise kits are really pretty simple and inexpensive, get one that does not require magnets. I haven't put magnets on one in decades.

do you know the make/model of one such kit?

The ones I installed years ago (just found a box full of spare parts) were called Speedostat III, made in USA , no brand that I could find.

Found one, but he want s$500 for it. Looks like its well made though. But more that I would spend.
