I use the helpfully named "Speedometer" app on my iPhone.
It did usefully confirm that my speedo under reads around about 10% at 70 mph, on stock wheels. Will be interesting to see what happens when I change the speedo (it's on "The List").

It is interesting how the speedometer. At least on the Spiders I have owned. Do not seem to follow a set pattern or equation that you can use predicatbley to calculate how far off the speedometer is. For example, at 40 MPH it is 1 MPH off from real speed. But, at 80 it is more like 11 MPH off meening the speedo is reading 69. By the time you count the mile markers you may already have a ticket if you are not tuned into the specifics of your speedo.
