Hi Kevin, what is the idle speed set at? Maybe I need new motor mounts or something because seriously my motor seems to run fine but there is a distinct shakiness about it at idle that your car clearly does not have!

Thanks George, idle speed is 1200-1250. Prior to this bottom end rebuild, I had to keep the idle closer to 1500 to keep her from occasionally stalling. I guess she really likes the brand new bearings!

Yes. Sounds and looks great. Are those chromed valve covers or polished aluminum?

Valve covers are chromed. I originally polished them - and they looked great, but had them chromed because upkeep is so much easier.

April 6th sounds great, but Saturdays are very difficult schedule wise during soccer season .
We will at least have to organize another "local" Spider mountain run soon. The biggest issue now is trying to decide whether to hit the mountains in the Spider or take the bikes! You have an even tougher decision - take the Spider, take the Miata or take the bike! Yeah, I know, rough life having to make such difficult decisions!
