Looking good. I did read on some post and maybe you already done it. They say when you paint you should ground your panels and body to get less dust. I don't know how this will effect painting out side but a copper rod run into the ground and to chassis couldn't hurt.

yeah i will may paint the outside tomorrow IDK yet

As most of you are aware our radiators are brass i plan to remove all the paint from the top if mine and polish the brass top.

Pick a very calm day, maybe sunrise, and wet the area around the car. Air blow all crevices and holes on the body. You can get a nice finish with little dust under the right conditions. Insects are attracted to the solvents and will trap themselves and make a mess trying to escape.

I plan lay 2mil plastic on the ground pull the car on top of it. I have 4 poles i am going to put on each corner of the car and wrap plastic 2mil all way around the car it be cheap paint booth...

I've painted several cars in plastic paint booths. I use 2x4 vertical corners, stake them and tie together with nylon rope. take clear plastic sheeting and wrap around rope and secure with clothes pins. take a piece of plywood and mount a home a/c style squirrel cage fan or a big blade fan. cut a hole in the plywood to air to get into the booth and mount the fan outside the booth with air blowing in. secure the plastic to the plywood with a staple gun. go to a paint supply house and get a good booth filter and staple it to the plywood. leave an entry to the booth in the back corner opposite the fan. the fan will inflate the booth giving it a positive pressure so dust cant come in. I wouldnt recommend plastic on the floor because of static. better to just wet it down. sometimes it is worthwhile to put a baffle in front of the fan to keep a direct blast from hitting the car. I will post pix of my panel booth.

Here are pix of my panel booth. This is smaller and more stout than my full car booths. I included my door jam pix so you can see the level of quality you can get with nice clean air going thru the booth.

how are you make air out of booth? I see that fresh air is going thru filter in booth.

The top picture shows a rock on the plastic. this is a vertical opening where i can get in and out of the booth. the rock just keeps it from blowing wide open.

Yeah I cant do it till Friday I am on Kid duty this week. I will get them weighed.
