Manoa Matt,
I've never heard of Grade 10 hardware.
Please see the chart following this link: http://www.engineersedge.com/hex_bolt_i ... cation.htm
Did you mean Class 10.9?
If so, the chart shows that the proof load, yield, and tensile strength are the same for Grade 8 or Class 10.9.
I would welcome some edumacation on this.
Dave

Re: Searching for bolts RESOLVED
I did speak with the guys where I bought the bolts (they have been there a loooooooooonnnnnnggggggg time) and they informed me that for Fiona's suspension, these are the correct bolts. I feel confident in their knowledge and in the integrity of the bolt. Only time will tell

That bolt chart is great! Instant save. Thanks for posting. I have always been a little unsure of all those top markings.

Re: Searching for bolts RESOLVED
I took my info from the numbers on the fiat bolt head and did not consider the radial dashes. I admit I've never heard of a grade 10.0 bolt and tried to cross check the bolt grade from the suspension specifications page of the Fiat factory service manual, but just so happens that page is missing from my binder. It's likely the Fiat bolts are 10.9. It also appears you have two stock Fiat bolts and two non stock bolts alternating, it may be fine, I don't know, I usually default to the engineers who designed the car.
