Yes. Are you getting the same sound?

The PO installed an aftermarket wiper motor and ran a separate line to power it, so the clicking sound was from the wiper relay that didn't have a motor connected to it. When the wipers were turned on, the relay would click. So I just keep it off. :)

I've since purchased a used factory wiper motor, but have not installed it yet.

The other issue I had (car not starting) was because of a loose connection on an aftermarket amp meter gauge. I tightened the connection (I should just replace or remove it) and haven't had another start problem since.

I've recently purchased my 81 and was running the engine for the first time today. I noticed a clicking sound coming from under the passenger side dashboard area. It clicks about every second. I first thought it was the hazard lights or directionals, but they were both off.

Is it from my ECU? Any ideas?

Thanks!

Could be a forgotten passenger, lost inside. Do a "tap tap", listed for a response.
Due to recent budget cuts and the rising cost of electricity, gas, and oil, we have decided to turn off the light at the end of the tunnel. We apologize for any inconvenience.

Hey Giulio,

Yes, the same sound and stops when wipers are off. I'll check to see if I have separate power line.
Thanks
