I'm with Pete. I did get caught in a "surprise" torrent recently and since my latches are not yet attached there was clearly a fair amount of water getting in. When I got to the garage I used a hair dryer to dry the area of wet carpet and fortunately the following day was very warm and sunny so I drove all day with the top down

I was going to try 2p-10 glue on them. Its like crazy glue on steroids. There is an activator that causes the bond to happen instantly and the glue comes in several viscosities. I already own it but might just get JB Weld instead.
