Very cool, man! Good stuff. I have a beater turbo dodge that was going to be a Texas Twister (cheap FWD dirt track car) before I got distracted by my new Fiat hobby. Good luck to you guys. I'm in Austin and I have shop space if you need it.

Thanks Sarge.We are going to do just races in the Ga/SC/NC area for now.But hey...I might use your shop floor to crash in in Nov 
.I plan to be in Austin for the F1 race if there is any way I can swing it.I am on the waiting list for tix.I bet your area is excited for that event!

Wow that's a great idea! I've been undecided about what to do with that thing. Right now all I know is that if you take the interior and glass out of a healthy turbododge it hauls a**! (it's down 494 pounds vs. stock) Unfortunatley not much you can do with it at that point. Hmm...LeMons...maybe..
As for the F1 talk here in Austin, I regret to say that the majority of the media coverage has not been what you would call exciting. Contruction stoppages related to funding, lack of traffic handling ability in that area, and some interesting stories from the tiny town of Elroy which is experiencing some significant impacts and will most certainly see much more.. But as for us spectators, heck yeah we're excited!
Good luck in your efforts, and if you do get those race tickets, feel free to hit me up for some hospitality.
