At the time, I really did get lucky on the auction. I bolted it on and she fired right up. Yet, the choke is frozen open and the air adjust screw is - er - ahhhhhhh - how can I put this? Let's see, it's kinda in operable - no, no that's not it. It's knina -I know! It's un-accessable. Yes, that is what it is. Un-accessable.

thats funny
use a tiny bit of PB parts blaster on that choke plate
and give it a tap with a hammer and pull it open then push it closed
it will open,i did it on a 28/23 i picked up
