"Alfodge." You just made me spit coffee all over my screen! :D

maybe they should have rebadged the 500 as a dodge colt or neon. Fiat 500 sales just died after october. i read 20% of the US Fiat dealers did not sell a single car in november!

I wonder if that is a coincidence with the more frequent J-lo commercial rotation :x

Anyone know a Fiat rep higher up the food chain and get them to read some of the comments here?
I'm not sure if I'd purchase one as it is likely a bit small when I'm packing two dogs and a pair of skies around. (I did drive a WRX and LOVED it)

If you read the article, they are going to take an Alfa, make it bigger and heavier and put in a tiny motor. I think the Dodge Dart is a perfect name. It's true, they never really had any power. This new venture looks like it's going to turn out to be a powerless, grocery getting turd as well.

Personally I would rather have an old Dodge Dart beater than this new one.

I talked tot he woman at the Enterprise rent a car place near me. they have a couple of Fiat 500's in their fleet, and they are the most rented out cars they carry. the cars are perfect for city driving, and they are good cars. I think they priced the car a bit too high, and should have had the Abarth in the line right off the bat. first year back in the us market, the two main things should have been to sell a car that was sorted out and reliable, and to price them to sell a ton to get them noticed, even if they didn't make much money on them the first year or so.

I think they got greedy and tried to make a too much money on the car the very first year. They had Lounge models at the dealer near me asking $24,000 for them.
