at this point its a trust thing
unless you find the right shop that has the right thing for reading depth including fillers.
i belive you said he would reclear it . so do what ever you want to that layer,just dont go thru the paint.

A paint thickness gauge will give you a good idea...but I'm not sure if it will count the coats.mik wrote:Thanks for the info, I think the buffing swirls I will be able to handle from what I have seen and heard from all of you.
