Keeping it sharp - paint, wax, detailing, etc.

I like the mod's your making. I'm curious how the final look is going to turn out. I can't imagine the chrome bumpers on it though. I can't wait to see the end result. Like some of my mod's. You either love it or hate it. LOL :P

harley 2008 deuce style turn signal lights work the best for running and turn signals. (get front ones only ! The rear are only turn signals no running light. Any harley store $59 each. If your intested i buy i bulk and can get you some cheaper.

I'm resurrecting this post. OK, I have a rear pad bumper to change and a ding on the tube where it is cracked. The tubes are beginning to show the undercoat (copper I think). And I've always hated that kind of bumpers. On the MG's, same thing. All good reasons to replace them :D So, what is best than chrome? Stainless. I made my mind to change my bumpers (no bumperettes for me :) ) and I had to reason myself to not order them right away until I read that thread... Does anyone have order these bumpers since last year with the installation kit? Do they fit now? At 823$ (including the installation kit for my '83) delivered, it's a good price?

If they brackets or intallation kit is from Harringtons, save your money and make up your own, they are rubbish. The bumpers are very good (you will need to modify the side mounting point on the bumper, I STILL haven't put my on and have been driving without bumpers for a while now, a bit of a millenium project..

well spotted, yes it it, I love the 2300S, I think it's one of Ghia's finest (Way before Ford just made it a badge to put on cause the car had velour and leather)
