solex vs weber carb?

Hey Mark, forgot to ask: If the guy installed the throttle cable himself; what is the advantage to having one? Running leaner/ better gas mileage?

Nick, it is possible that the guy put a manual choke device on the carb, cuz the water choke quit working. I know i thought about that before i upgraded my '80 carb. was a mean little cuss to start in the early spring.

Yaa that was the first thing i noticed ! i laughed a bit even though
i have had that same scene a few times with my Fiat's just wierd
that they would use a car like that for there add why not a dodge
or ford ? American's are always bashing us and our Imported Cars .

mbouse, you may be on to something. The ad states that the radiator and coolant hoses were replaced recently; although he did say that he uses it to get better gas mileage.

no advantage to adding a throttle cable, IMHO. Sounds to me like the guy is a BS'er

Wonder what kinda radiator hoses he used to get measurably better gas mileage?

I'd steer clear of this seller if i were you.
