Very nice! Details? Made/modified/restored yourself? Looks like they have good high sides to hold one secure when flying around corners.

There's been lots of previous discussions on these seats with concerns about fitting (potential width issues) and seat mounting.
I and I'm sure others will be very interested in hearing about your experience with these seats. Please keep us informed!
Thanks,
Bruce

They went in smoothly. The width is very tight, but no shoving...just not a mm to spare :D Mounting rails are about 1/8 inch too narrow and needed a little stretching...nothing at all major.

Thanks, Robert - I've a few more questions, though...
Did you get the rails with the seats? And if so, what specifically did you order? When you say "stretched", what do you mean?
Cheers,
Bruce

When I ordered the seats, I ordered the rails also (from the same people). The mounting rails are special order and take 3 weeks to make.

Stretch...the chair sliders after being attached to the chair bottom are just a smidge too narrow...so when they screw into the mounting rails (which attach to the stock floor mounts) you have to push them open a bit to get the mounting screws in. Now...if I had to do it over again....when you bolt the sliders to the chair there is a bit of wiggle room....at this point push the sliders as far apart from each other, then tighten the bolts. I bet that would have made a difference.

There was talk about these seats being too high. I have nothing to compare this too. I tore the old seats out before I even sat in them long enough to get a feel. If you need me to make some measurements, just ask and I will try.

I have now completely given up on clocks....they all stink. I have spent over $100 on clocks that supposedly ran

So.....just ordered a NEW, NEVER USED Veglia Borrleti VOLTS gauge.

Had to order from Greece (are they still a country in business) :D

So...in continuation of project creep! Now that I am moving wires out of the way to paint the engine bay, I noticed that the brake booster has some rust at the firewall...so it needs to come out. My manual says to remove the master cylinder then take the booster out? Any good reason why I cannot just disconnect the brake line and then remove the whole unit?

Second....steering box and idler.....I want to keep everything connected and just remove the lids...suck out the old fluid and reinstall the lids...then top off with the little fill plug. Does this sound ok? Got the 90 weight for the steering box...but some previous posts in my search have me concerned about what to fill the idler with?

Thanks!
