Mike,
That's one of the things I love about the Fiat, the slight obscurity over more "popular" makes like MG or Triumph.
I've always liked orphan cars, it's always fun to apply for a tag and be asked "who made Packard?"
The current lineup in my "museum" is a 1955 Packard Patrician and a 1969 AMC Ambassador 2dr hardtop.
Once the 1970 is close to completion the other two are going to get the works.

it's alive !!
Absolutely agreed. the #1 reason i bought my first spider is because i never saw one before. to this day, twelve years later, i am the only one in my county that owns running Fiats.
that has its disadvantages, however. while i drive around at home base, i need to be mindful of HOW i drive, cuz everyone knows where my little blue Queenie lives.

odd nuts and bolts
Hey Mike,
I've never had to look for those british bolts, but if I did have to look I'd go to "McMaster Carr" kind of like Grainger but alot more hardware.
I use to build and modify cameras so tiny tiny machine screws were a problem to find at hardware stores. They have a warehouse/ headquarters just West Chicago, off of 290.
Not shure how far you are from them, maybe order a bunch of bolts and cruise the Fiat over on a Saturday.

Matt,
that trip would be in excess of four hours one way. Quite the jaunt
i've picked up plenty of US-national fine threads and plenty of metric fasteners at my local FASTENAL. but, they cannot do Whitworth.
recent google searches have revealed Whitworth fastener suppliers. Ain't the internet great?
fortunately, i have yet to find a need to order from one of these places....yet....
