Happy Australia Day to all the Aussies out there

Post by Curly »

To celebrate this special day our local sporting and classic car club arranged a tour of seldom used scenic roads in our area finishing up at an out-of-the-way resturaunt for lunch. The day started off fine, but clouds gathered and rain followed just before our arrival at the lunch destination. Out of the 15 participating cars, SPYDUH was the only Italian, and the only one of only 3 convertibles  with a hood (top/roof or whatever it's called in Nth America  ). Nevertheless a great day was had by all and to help others less fortunate than ourselves, the club donated $500 to aid those affected by the devestating floods in other parts of our State.

Curly,

I think that's the first photo I've seen of SPYDUH with the roof up !

Australia Day was really hot here is Sydney, 34 degrees out beside the pool yesterday.

Happy Australia Day !

Definitely a nicer looking car with the roof down.

Too bad for the rain, but it looks like it was a successful day. I've still got my fingers crossed Ron and I will be able to visit your beautiful country for the PGA President's Cup but it's starting to look more and more like we may not.
