can everyone post a pic of their spider?
Re: can everyone post a pic of their spider?
Darn, Bernie and Denise have my dream Spiders. Posting Bella Limone's pictures right after Bernie's baby is like Timy Tim following Pavarotti on stage at the Met. Oh well, I still love her:
OMG that was painful. Flickr has changed how you get the code. Its all jumbled up for a duffer like me. They say copy the code but its a bunch of lines with the right part buried in the middle. I can believe I sorted it out. I'll bet I don't remember the next time I try to post a pic.

Great looking car, Doug. There's an old adage about having to do something 7 times to have it "locked" into the memory blank. Apparently works for names etc. So if you post pictures every day for the next 7 days, you might be Ok.
This getting old thing is the pits, isn't it???

Actually that might not be a slip of the tongue after all. My memory is often more of a blank than a bank.
I make a lot of notes than forget where I put them.
Stay warm up there.
Memory BLANK? LOL!to have it "locked" into the memory blank

Doug,
You might find this hard to believe - but that was a typo...really!!!
And as for staying warm up here, I have a sneaking suspicion it might just be warmer here than where you are. It's 7.5 C or about 46 F right now.

"Love the one you're with" as the song goes, Doug. You've got a great-looking car there. You'll see when we meet at Mastori's that Gina has plenty of warts and wrinkles, too. Gives 'em character, I say.Exit98 wrote: Oh well, I still love her:

Kirwal,
What is the gauge by the ignition? It looks like you have an oil pressure gauge where the clock was originally and the clock moved down by the ignition - was that stock in Canada???

I had the dealer install an oil pressure gauge when I bought it. I moved the clock down next to the ignition.nelsonj wrote:Kirwal,

Re: can everyone post a pic of their spider?
I put in an oil pressure gauge and tossed the clock on my 81 Spider (page 4). Also put an extra large low-oil light right above it. It's an easy conversion for any late model Spider... I got a "Veglia Borleti" gauge for a few bucks from a donor FIAT at the local Pick 'n Pull, ordered a new sender, and there you have it. I'd rather know the oil status than what time it is anyway...

Adam,
You have the steering wheel I want for my car.
It keeps the wood look, yet has a solid, sporty look
Can you tell me where it came from?
Mine is stock original, but it isn't quite the look i want.

The steering wheel and adaptor are available from IAP, among others. Horn button from Spiderpoint, or make your own like I did from a trunk badge.
These and other thicker steering wheels are a great improvement in comfort vs. the OE "hula hoops".

Re: can everyone post a pic of their spider?
The wheel came from ebay for about $125. I also got the Momo to Nardi adapter from ebay and the newer style steering wheel hub cam from the parts for sale section. I think it cost $200 all in. I like the look and I like the fact that it brings the wheel a few inches closer to me.

Hello there
I´m new to the forum even though I followed it for a while now. Here are some pictures of my car (1977 Fiat spider with a 34 adf carb, 4-2-1 header, performance cams, high compression pistons, performance head bigger front sway bar, rear sway bar and a lot more...Well I pretty much change and rechromed everything on my baby.
My car is in France and I´m stiil in the process of rebuilding it.
Hope you enjoy my pics. I enjoyed yours.
