Right. I really think they will sound good, as I have had a 2" version of these on the coupe once before. They would look good on Juan.....

If Juan didn't already have a dual Ansa I'd sure consider it. How does this compare in sound. Do you know?

Re: What did Santa get you for Xmas
Denise - Boy, comparing sounds is tough. I have the ANSA tips on the spider, which is pretty much a stock 2.0L FI. Compared to that exhaust note, the baffled Summit tips make it sound "tighter", or more distinct, and seem to be about as loud as the ANSA tips. But the larger diameter - 3" vs 2.5" on the previous Summit tips - may lower the sound a bit. When I get them on and the car back to the dyno to test the two exhaust changes and the swap out from the modified Pierce manifold to the custom intake manifold Mark worked with us on, I'll try to remember to record it at the tailpipe.
We'll also see if the 150.5 RWHP number goes up any...

Did you ever get your fuel delivery problems sorted out on that car, Jeff?

Re: What did Santa get you for Xmas
We have very high hopes that smaller injectors, different fuel pressure, the new manifold, a wideband sensor and using the TP sensing as a basis for the AFR will solve the problem. That said, I would never recommend converting to FI. There are just too many variables to get it really dialed in like you can with IDFs.

That's how my engine mounts look! I plan on changing them in the spring.grittracing wrote:Santa brought me one of those Chocolate orange balls . get one every year love them. and a set of long over due Jack stands. and I already put them to use putting new motor mounts on yesterday. i think needed
