Tops from ebay seller"Diamondmall"

Post by ga.spyder »

Hey guys.Has anyone bought a top from this ebay vendor? They go by 'diamondmall',and have excellent price on vinyl tops.I really need a top,but with work almost non-existent,I have very limited funds.I use my top very rarely, but the original is ripping in several places, and is a eyesore. This vendor is out of Cal.,and has 99.6% feedback.I wondered about fit?

Any chance they are the same company as 'Germanex'?Both list Northridge,Cal as their address.I know of someone who used this company with good results.

Thanks for any feedback!

You may want to check with them to see if the cables are included. Great price, though, especially for a mostly top-down car.

Craig,

I know boogiedude has a germanex canvas top. Good fit and price too. PM him and see if they come with cables. Even if they don't you can pick up the cable and the swagg ends at any hardware store for pennies. I'd consider buying from Germanex before the ebay store even if they are the same company.

Bought mine from World Upholstery. I have been extremely happy with the top and their prices are fantastic. http://www.worlduph.com

I bought one of these and it fits and looks great. Very happy. And no, it doesn't come with cables but I went to Home Depot and bought cable and the crimp thingies and made my own for about $10. I know it isn't a top of the line top and it isn't canvas, but I only need it if I am out and get caught in the rain.

Best to keep your top up ALL THE TIME when stored. Doing otherwise will cause premature deterioration from dust and moisture collecting at various fold points.

I purchased a blue canvas top from DIAMONDMALL and you can see some photos in the link below. Paid less than half what the major suppliers want. Had to buy cables from IAP, but the top seems fine. They all fit very tight, so I would not suggest it as a do-it-yourself job unless you plan to go into the business and need the experience.

Good luck!
