Why don't they list the VIN#? That would tell you exactly what year you're looking at.

The seller is in Canada, and although he says "ships to US", there's no legal way to get this into the US without DOT and EPA paperwork, which the seller won't have. If you want to try to smuggle it in and try to register it as a '75 Spider with a fake VIN tag, good luck. Otherwise run--don't walk--away.

I sent him an e-mail about the year being listed as 1980. He has corrected it to 1995.
