Sorry to hear that, Nick. I hope they are all right, and healed up by Christmas.

Give them both plenty of time to be sure they are totally ok before signing off on any insurance stuff!!!

Best wishes for a complete recovery for your family!

As someone who has a jacked up back (3 discs are hosed) from and accident in 2002.
I got hammered in court with no compensation for future medical complications. And there are complications.
I walk with a real hitch in my git along and it isn't getting better with time.
May I suggest?
You will be speaking to legal help. When you do, do not go for the "nice guy" lawyer. Get the sleaziest snake in the grass ambulance chaser you can. It is in the best interest of your wife and sons future.
Give the other side no quarter or compassion. You will be shown none in my experience.
Good Luck.

BTW, I apologize to any sleazy ambulance chasing lawyers I may have offended.
If it bugs you that bad. Go read Shakespeare.

Thanks everyone...

I know everyone has been in one way or another in my position and has to determine the best course of action and I have already been accorded the best legal action, but at this point I only wish for their health and that nothing 'hidden' pops up that the doctors/CT scans/X-rays or any diagnostic tools did not catch up front.

I am just grateful they weren't hurt anymore than the injuries they sustained when I saw both vehicles in the impound yard.

I'll keep everyone posted on their status but I'm sure they'll come through just fine. I just hope the other driver that caused the accident is contemplating the events that happened before him and what is coming in terms of the legality of the carelessness of his actions especially if cell phone records indicate he was texting or on the phone when he hit my son.

Sorry to hear about that Nick. Best wishes, of course.

But back to the topic at hand! I'm unconvinced that we found the right answer. I looked at those, but look at te difference in the door line. Are we sure we've found it?
I'm no Boy-Racer..... but if I can't take every on-ramp at TWICE the posted limit.... I'm a total failure!

Nick, so sorry to hear about the accident. I too wish your family a speedy recovery. I'll wait to send the X cluster to you since there isn't any urgency to get it done just yet.

I'm sure this is an Alfa Romeo... take a look again... especially the badge on the fender behind the front wheel...

The Giulietta Sprint coupe was designed by Bertone, with some assembly at their Grugliasco plant. Must be the lens angle on the cell phone, because the A pillar looks more raked in the photo. But it sure does look like a Giulietta Sprint Veloce Lightweight ("Alleggerita").

Hey, Nick, we had a close call here a little while ago; my thoughts are with you.

Wow, Nick! My thoughts and prayers to you and your family also. We very much would like to hear an update on their condition.
My monthly car club meeting was last night and a member shared a few slides of his trip to Watkins Glenn. One of the cars in the pics was an Alfa Sprint.
