Which State? Every one has different laws.

Here's California's : from http://www.dmv.ca.gov/vr/smogfaq.htm#BM2536

Does my vehicle qualify for a smog exemption?

Do you have a link on the historic vehicle smog exemption? I couldn't find it on the site.

Thanks. I'm definitely going to have to check that out. I'd love to find a way to stop those ridiculous smog checks on a car this old for which replacement components (carb, thermal valves, etc.). I rarely drive the car and it seems crazy to go through the motions for a car that is driven about 750 miles per year.
