my 3rd Fiat

My first Fiat was over 40 years ago. I got my 2nd on July 1st this year and my 3rd on November 5 this year. The 3rd Fiat is a 1982 124 Spider 2000 with 5 speed. It was listed on E-bay with a bad oil leak from cam box or head and maybe over heating. With haveing had a very recent head rebuild. It was only 340 miles from home so I bought it fairly cheap and brouth it home.
The day afther I got it hove I took the exhast cam box off and the mechanic who did the head job managed to break the gasket in two places. I cleaned everthing up and put in new gaskets, new timing belt, v-belt, coolant. The car was from NM so no rust. Has a 20 foot paint job,needs a new top that came with it, the trany leaks a little at the front seal, and the diff has a little extra gear lash. Other than the brakes and head I do not think anything has been rebuilt. It needs a front end rebuild. I am going to use the parts I bought for Fiat #2, a 1981 124 Spider 2000 with AT, to rebuild the front of this car. I Will talk about #2 some other time. It has never had anything rebuilt and very little replace on it. It came with one of the original tires. I am good with cars not so with computers. Sometime I will figure out how do pictures and what not on here.

I guess one can never have enough Fiats. I want a FI x 1/9 next!

I watched that one get sold on ebay. From Topeka, right? Looked like a nice car and I think you got it for a good price. Congrats.

Yes from Topeka. I have put about 200 miles on it in the last week and a half. Drives OK. I have got it in my shop now. Time to redo the front end bushing ect.
