the good weather got to me. Since Saturday, we've had 70 + temps here in Michigan....so yesterday at 4:45 pm i called the insurance man to get driving insurance put back on the '80 Spider.
the drive from the storage location to home takes an hour via backroads, or 40 minutes via the 4 lane. Hmmm, which should we take? Yup, back roads all the way.
Course, when I get home, i spend the next two solid hours cleaning out the garage well enough, and packing away some strewn about Spitfire parts, and finding some lost tools on the floor......finally got room to put the Spider in the garage.
Now, she wants to know what is up with that furrin' thing in the next stall. Is he (the Triumph) married? What's with his accent? Told her to mind her own, shut the lights and put them to bed for the night.
Heard some ruckus during the night, but saw no signs of trouble in the morning. Got a minor exhaust rattle for some strange reason, but everything else seems o.k. Definitely could use a tune up.
So, what does one get when one crosses an Italian Stallion with a Little British Car? Stay tuned....this same time, this same channel....
i couldn't stand it any longer
