O2 Sensor, Pace Setter Header...?
I'm going to be adding a wideband O2 to the 72 when I take the exhaust out to ceramic coat it to make carb tuning easier for me. I have a PLX-300M decoder sitting in my XR4Ti track car which I can use as necessary to dial in my setup. Anyone have any suggestions on an early model exhaust where to locate the sensor? Maybe someone who's done an EFI swap on a 1608 (am MS users?) ? I was thinking right after the 4 individual header pipes collect on the downpipe facing toward the front of the car since there seems to be ample room, toward the firewall is alot tighter...

I just had this done yesterday. If the bung faces back, it interferes with the steering idler. I had a bridge made between the two down pipes (Ansa headers) and tig'd a bung in the bridge facing forward. I just sent it in to get ceramic coated so a pic might take a few days.

Well the interesting thing is I have a Pace Setter Header 70-1041 for 68-79 1.8 and 2.0L Fiat Spiders, cept it's on a 1608, I'm guessing the exhaust ports are the same, it's got 4 1.5" primaries going into a 2" collector. After measuring and inspecting everything it looks like just below the collector on the main exhaust downpipe toward the front is the only place it'll fit without having the wiring rub the firewall, fenderwell, or engine.
