Anybody have a pic of a rear plate, relocated down to the center of the tube bumper on a late Spider (centered between the black bits, attached onto the bumper tubes)? Thinking of doing this, wondering what to do with the space vacated by the plate and the chromed plate light bumps (this would be pre-repainting), so all holes could be filled/smoothed).
i think it would look clean, with some LED plate bolt/lights, but not sure about the vast flat space where the plate is now.

LIke this?
This is PintoPower's car, out here in SoCal. He's got a beauty, with a to die for interior. Notice how he used the license light inserts in the tubes.

Pretty cool. That's where I put my license plate. I still have to make the bracket for it though.

Thank you - that's it right there! Although I would want to make a bracket to clip onto the tubes of the late-model bumper, using the space between the black rubber parts. Then I can get the LED license plate bolt lights to illuminate the plate.
The center part of the bumper is perfectly sized for a plate.
