head assembly?

head assembly?

Can I take the head assembly off without disassembling the valves assembly and the rest of the stuff,
do I need to drain the oil ?
manifold and exhaust are off already.

Yes, just pull the head bolts and your set to remove that head. U did drain down the radiator right?

also unhook the exhaust or you will have to pull really hard to get that head out :D

And drain the block too! or it will be messy!
1978 Spyder 1800 make that 2L! Finally making real progress!

... and don't forget the cabin heater supply pipe, which is cleverly attached to the exhaust manifold stud.
