Custom grill and valence grill

Post by jfletchx00 »

Just finished a nice project that only took a couple of hours on a beautiful saturday afternoon. The front top grill was there but it was old and faded and the bottom grill was missing so i decided to use separated steel to make it look much better. After that, i replaced the valence grill that was originally black and was missing half of the 6 with separated steel. Here are the before shots:

I would love to hear what you fellow Fiat owners think of this homemade project that was completely free (dad works at a contracting company, free metal)

Looks great -- and very much like the grill material used on some of the early years (like mine).

rolled expanded stainless steel? looks pretty good.. :) I may do something similar...although I like the idea of black instead of shiny... just personal preference though...

Looks good. I'm going the black mesh route also but with a little tighter weave.

Kinda like meangreenspider's in this post.
