New parts installed
New parts installed
Just installed a new fuel pump, tank sender and new fuel line tonight on the 850. Just letting you all know I am still here. I joined the forum and than dropped off. I still have the car and the project is still going on. Runs great now without the clogged screen in the tank pickup.

Re: New parts installed
Cool, glad to see another 850 Spider owner posting here. I sold mine to my brother early in the summer, and he's wrenching on it along side my 124 Coupe in his garage. I've done all that you mentioned in your post, and I hope you didn't have as much rust & gunk in your system as I did in mine... Mine was bad enough that the rust content in the fuel stained the concrete in the driveway for quite a while. I was surprised that the car could run on such nasty looking fuel.
It was beautiful today in Western Oregon, so my bro and I went for a cruise in the 850 Spider. I love that car. I only sold it to him to interest him in Fiats enough to get back into cars. It worked. I secretly sold it to him for half what I paid for it, but it's been more than worth it to see him get back into cars, and to have a good friend to play cars with. Eugene, Oregon is infested with hippie-slackers who aren't interested in anything that isn't pedal powered, or runs on some kind of hemp product...
Please continue to post about your car, and post some pics from your Flickr account! Search this forum for something like "post pictures Flickr" or some such thing for the tutorial. If you don't have a Flickr account, they're pretty quick & easy to set up.
Here's a shot of my bro's 850 next to my 124 Coupe on our way to the Mirifiori Camp Out in July.

Here's a shot of my bro filling up the trans of my 124 Coupe at an Interstate 5 rest stop after it seized up in the parking lot. That trip was both epic, and well documented.

I've got lots of videos of these cars & our trip to the camp out posted on my Youtube, search "thechadzone" in the Youtube search. Yes, were freakin' dorks...

Re: New parts installed
Great to hear its now a going concern. I recently dragged my850 out of the garage after sitting dormant for nearly ten years. I still need to rebuild my alternator, the ones I bought on Ebay were both toast. Nice.
Some pics of mine.

I am off from work tomorrow. I have my new seats!! The seats that are in the car now are so bad, it is hard to just sit in the car and feel good about it. Maybe I'll finally do the seats. And here is the car in the daylight in the original condition when I got the car.

Glad to see you back. Will you be joining us for the Run with the clams next Sunday? We are all very excited to see your 850. We don't have anyone in the club with a 850. George
