WBEZ to auction ‘79 Fiat Spider…Chicago Public Radio’s WBEZ stands to gain a sizeable windfall from the sale of a 1970 Fiat Spider donated by Cars.com senior editor Joe Wiesenfelder. He purchased the car from NPR “Car Talk” host Tom Magliozzi more than ten years ago, chronicling his trip behind the wheel from Boston to Chicago. Wiesenfelder is now donating the Spider to WBEZ which will auction the car.

Re: Fiat on NPR
Many of us listen to Car Talk on NPR every week and have been for more years than we can count.
Others haven't a clue what Car Talk is, never heard of Tom & Ray, or the Tappet Brothers ("don't drive like my brother").
Trust me, they are the funniest guys on the radio and they will make your whole family laugh. They are on NPR where ever you are in the USA, usually on Saturday or Sunday mornings.
Anyway, here's links to more about the Fiat they and Cars.com are auctioning:

The Press Release:

Good luck bidding.
