Was there any year or model of Twin Cam engine that would have the oil fill at the front of the drivers side cover?

I think if you want one like that you need to look for lancia valve covers

I haven't seen any of the Fiat versions with the oil fill on the front left corner

Are you going distributorless? Use two covers without the fill hole and use the distributor hole as the oil fill hole. Taking the plug out once every three months should not be too big of a hassle and should clean things up a bit. Makes people wonder "Where does the oil go?"
