Jimmy's Spider
Jimmy's Spider
here is one of the recent projects we've been working on;
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XWqy5ccquGk
Jimmy's Spider has a 2L in it and had hood clearance issues. We upgraded the ignition to the new distributorless system, added an 1800 intake with a 38dges synchronous carb and our header with complete exhaust system. We used a Hushpower muffler on this car rather than a Magnaflow and the sound is quite different.

All that bling and the battery hasn't been relocated. I assume that's on the to-do list. LOL

Nice looking engine bay, Mark. That hushpower muffler must really work. I didn't hear a thing!

Very nice!!!! Engine bay looks super with those headers and the paint scheme. What kind of horsepower do you think she putting out? I'm running an Ansa muffler and the sound of similar. but that is where the comparison stops. Great job!! Give us a picture of the finished car.

Re: Jimmy's Spider
Mark, the motor looks incredible!
I wish I had thought of ceramic coating my cam towers - that is a good look and minimal upkeep.
Craig, if you ever want anything ceramic coated, I can give you the info for the guy that powder coated my top frame and rear end and ceramic coated my headers - his shop is a half mile from my house, he does exceptional work and is very reasonable price wise.

Re: Jimmy's Spider
I wasn't sure how the cam towers would come out, we did spend a little time smoothing out the larger areas between the ribs for more shine. We had several pieces done at the same time, but I'd guesstimate the two boxes were about $150

Re: Jimmy's Spider
I have never hear of ceramic coating. The engine still looks like aluminum. Is it a clear coating? Can someone please enlighten me?
