Denise (mdrburchette) what's this button for?

Denise,
I was searching for some KYB GR2 shock info and came accross this pic of your car. What does the door button mounted in your trunk do?

Thanks,

Yup, gotta little lite on the right side I think, I'd have to go look. Wiring diagram should show how wired, I am not sure. All I know is my old Fiat has a trunk light, and my wifes 02 Impreza does not. Drives her nuts.

Yep, that's for the trunk light. The trunk hinge hits it when the trunk is closed and causes the light to go out, but it is wired to the headlamps and license plate lights so it will not work with the lights off, just like the early model engine compartment lamps. Here's how it's wired:
black wire to ground
yellow/black wire to left headlamp
yellow/black wire to left license plate lamp

1971 124 Spider (Juan)
1986 Bertone X19 (Blue)
1978 124 Spider Lemons racer
1974 X19 SCCA racer (Paul)

Ever changing count of parts cars....It's a disease!
