You are not, I repeat not, allowed to take ownership of another decent Fiat to simply use it for a brief period and "discard" it like some unwanted bit of basic transportation . If you take the plunge on this one, you have to promise to keep it a while (or give me first dibs on taking it off your hands!).
Believe it or not, I'm actually going through restoration withdraw and wouldn't mind finding a "project" to fix up for Wanda - if that's not a sure sign of Fiat insanity, I don't know what is! For now I'll just have to keep myself busy finishing up some of the minor details I didn't have time to get "perfect" before FFO.
P.S. We need to have a Georgia get together soon!

Hey Kev, Wanda needs her own car! This X19 is supposed to be for Rosemarie,but the wheel bearing is so loud,I dont think she should drive it.I am ordering bearings,and then we'll make a decision.If we dont keep it,a certain NC person has already spoken for it.I dont care for the X's personally,just not my style.We do need a get together,just give me a couple weeks.The Spider goes into the body shop at the end of next week.

Great find! Congrats. An X isn't a Spider, in some ways its a superior sports car but it isn't a better car overall.

Couple weeks should be perfect. That will give me time to get my fuel gauge working. I'm also in process of swapping out my new alternator - the pulley is shifting position. It's boxed up to send back to AR today. Csaba is sending the replacement tomorrow.
Wanda and I may be going up to Helen Saturday night for a car show that benefits Cystic Fibrosis - since the Spider is now "alternatorless" I may actually enter the "Holden". How close are you guys to Helen?
