Hood/trunk emblem cojnfusion

I seem to be- (AM)- confused with the emblems on Fiats as compared to Pininfarinas. The way I understand it now is that my 1983 Pininfarina (manufacture date-11/83) should have the round "sailboat'" on the trunk lid and the round stylized "F" on the hood. Am I correct or am I still going to be confused?
