FFO Photos from my brief time there

Post by kmead »

Here are the majority of the pics I took at FFO 2010 in Asheville. Had a great time and met some wonderful people, but sadly not as many as I hoped to (the faults mine, not any of the other fine guests).

If anyone wants a pic of their car which I took I would be more than happy to email it.

Thanks and all the best.

Great pics, Karl. Thanks for sharing! Wish I had time to take my own pics, but I didn't even bother bringing my camera this year.

You certainly didn't have time. Great job and a huge thank you for making it a great event. I was really glad I was able to meet you while I was there.

I really enjoyed the go cart autocross. I missed the last heat because due to how slow the checkout was at the Fiat store and picking up my FFO tshirt. The local drive on Saturday on the Blue Ridge Parkway and then down that local street was great.

Hopefully all of our pics are some small compensation for all your hard work.

I appreciate It . It's hard to know how the Freakout went when you're the one inside looking out. I hope everyone had a great time. There were only five of us working the entire event, but thankfully, we had several volunteers. I really enjoyed organizing the gokart autocross. I don't think I've laughed so much watching the guys, gals and kids running those little things in the parking lot. Kmac's wife, Wanda was a special treat to watch with the way she used her whole body to pursuade that kart to slide into the turns.

Karl,
Thanks for sharing the great pictures! I ended up getting some good pictures except of my own car. I'm now regretting not getting any pictures of my own car at the Concorso.
I'm looking forward to seeing the pictures that were taken during the go-cart autocross. We all were having such a great time, the pictures should be pretty entertaining  .

Thanks for the pix,Karl.I never got to see the karts run at all.I set the course up with Denise though.I bet it was fun.I'm glad Wanda won a trophy, since she sacrificed her wardrobe out there! It seems like everyone enjoyed the event.I never realized how many details there are to putting on something like FFO.Thanks to all of you who pitched in to help.I gotta single out Elial. He was constantly asking what he could do to help, and I constantly gave him duties. Thanks, buddy!
