Last week I went just north of Gilroy California for a friends wedding. Such a great place for a wedding this ol cabin turned out to be. , Anyway, upon leaving the hotel sunday morning with my girl and two friends, what did I see? Just 2 spiders for sale in a lot behind some store. They looked to be early cars, I wanted to stop, but my girlfriend and friends just said no way, and kept driving. All I could do was take one more look after we grabed some Starbucks then hit the Freeway south. Then we detoured over to Clint Eastwoods town of Carmel. On the way out I saw a very nice turbo Spider, they just laughed at me again and wouldt stop. Good thing I love my girl otherwise I might have opened the door while the car was driving and just shoved her out.
The half wat through this week I saw two mre very clean late spiders within 3 blocks of my house. Ive been here 6 years and have seen others , but not these 2 very nice cars. This must mean life is getting better.

That must be a Cal thing. I am in St. Louis and I have seen 1 this summer. I live in west St. Louis county where there are a lot of guys with toy cars so you would think there would be more. There are several A/C Cobra replicas running around but never any Spiders. Or we're just a bunch of hicks that don't buy Italian sports cars.

Always see quite a few Fiats and Alphas in Monterey, Pacifc Grove and vicinity. More than I see down Southern CA.
Re: To many spiders
I always look for the spiders around me in South Jersey to try to get together with them. Never was able to catch up with them. Every time I see one. He's going the other direction and I see them at the last second. I know there has to be a couple close but who knows where they reside. I was lucky to meet someone at the last car show in Phila. He lives about 20 minutes from me. That was an exciting day.

There are two boattail Alfa Spiders that I see regulerly near my house. What surprises me though is the four Lambos I see on a reguler basis cruising the neighborhood.

The other day, I noticed that half of the cars at a trailer park were worth more than their owner's houses.
