Sun visors falling

Post by MrSparkle »

Hello,

New to Fiats, just got one a few months ago, done a few fixes and mods but the thing that's driving me crazy the most is the sun visors both fall down (not off of the brackets, they just don't stay in the up and out of my field of vision position  ). I'm sure there is a simple fix, they look like they are in fine shape they just won't stay up. Help! I'm thinking of ripping them off if there's no easy solution but I'd rather not. The car is a 1978. Thanks.

On the visor, was there a couple of very small screws that tightened a small clamp type affair around the black plastic piece on one end of the visor.
Perhaps this is a bit loose, not enough friction?

Thanks narfire, I'll check that out for sure ... I don't remember seeing anything when I looked last but that would make sense!
