Looking great ken! Do you have any pic's of what the underside of the back seat cover looks like? Or is it just flat?
Re: Update on paint job
I havent ran the motor yet, that will be a few weeks away. The valve covers or cam covers which ever is corect were glass bead blasted and that was all.
Mark said he put a distributor on a motor with this manifold and looking from the front there is plenty of room.
I will post a picture of the underside of the back cover, I dont know if anyone noticed but the door windows are also removed.

Re: Update on paint job
Here are a couple pictures of the progress on the Fiat, its going slow and I have not even begun on the interior other than placing the roll bar behind the seat. Tomorrow I will either start on making a new grill or finish up the roll bar.
Thanks for looking

Looking very good Ken! Car looks pretty low. What springs did you put on it? And or did you cut them?

More pictures,
this is the grill I am making, its just sitting in the car, haven’t made the mounts yet so its not sitting level.

I have been watching the pictures of your car as you post them, really looking good. I wanted to change the tail lights but I need to get this project finished so until another time they stay.
About the door handles, I converted the car to a roadster, no back seat and no windows, just a windshield, to open the door the handle is on the inside just where your hand rests when placed on the door. I retrowed the side lights and the mirrors to the earlier styles.
Just noticed you are in Yelm, I'm just north of Seattle near Everett WA. I would sure love to see this car on the road or at one of the show/meets sometime..... VERY nice work so far!
Re: Update on paint job
Oh! That is sweet! Got a little carried away with the paint job, didn't you? Is there anything you didn't paint or otherwise refinish?

Did you try putting the vertical pieces on the back. I bet it would look better. It would give it a sleeker, smoother look. Don't get me wrong. It looks really cool. I was thinking of trying something like that. I just never got around to it. How did you cut the grooves on the supports?
Re: Update on paint job
The vertical pieces are all that holds the grill together, at least until its welded, I would have to build a jig or something to hold it together while its welded and I wouldn’t be able to test fit it until it was done.
I put the holes in the vertical tubes with an end mill.
