Crane Fireball XR3000

Just a question about this aftermarket ignition unit. I know a guy who has one of these kit # 3000-0231 for real cheap. Open box, but he never got around to installing it. Anyways, I checked crane's site and they list this number as the one for the spider. Is this the same unit that Vick carries? And what kind of modifications to the kit, if any ,do I have to make to make it work?

That is the kit we carry and if everything is in the box you are good to go.
