Copper Cleaner for rear window

Post by jfranks »

Looking through some old posts, I noticed Tappy mentioned "coppercleaner" for rear windows at one time. Anybody know anything about this?

I would use the plastic cleaners that are out there for this purpose already.

I don't know about cleaners since the issue is not dirt, it's scratches and it has to be polished. I used regular car polish and it worked fine. Copper cleaner is a polish only a little bit more coarse so maybe start with that and finish with car polish.
You just have to make sure that it doesn't have thinner in it that could harm the plastic.

If you want privacy so nobody sees into the plastic window. Use Lacquer Thinner. Mix it with gas for that rainbow look when it is drizzling outside. i would refrain from smoking though.
