flaring tool. Most car type stores would have one, don't think they were too expensive,I think I paid around $25.00 or so here in Canada.

Thanks narfire ,,I will need a tube bender that makes 180 degree bends soI bought a Ridgid tube bender to do so . I will give your idea a try soon as I get the double flaring tool.. I did see this flaring tool and thought if I were a shop owner I would like having one of these .. But I may never do another gas line again so for me this is more than I need..

Whats happened to this forum ,,seems like not much attendance and replys as it used to have ?
must be me . LOL

anyway thanks to all who read my posting anyways .. LD

Hi Greg

Real Nice to hear from you . Glad that you are keeping busy and still in the work force as many are not. I got the fuel line in and found the double flare tool to get done what I wanted .. Now it's do some bending to get my transmission lines to hook up . Big block motor changes the bends a little so hope to be able to use the new reproduction lines to get it hooked up directly with out any hoses . I too will be busier as summer comes on ,,Out sheds to remodel due to a post rotting out ,electric fences to put in for security purposed around my shop and storage buildings out back of the house.. and of course the honey do's of flowers and shrubs for the wife .. LOL LD

That helps Randy. I am under the weather right now, as soon as I get out of this @#$%@$ cold, I will resume working on the car. I will give you a call.

I have a flairing tool but it does not have the capability of doing that bell shape flair...

This does it, but at 395.00, well... a bit outside the budget for something seldom use at home...
